Storefront Guidelines and Best Practices

Your Storefront is the first impression couples get of your business when they're searching for wedding vendors on The Knot and WeddingWire. Follow these guidelines to create a Storefront that stands out and maximizes your potential:

  • Include Your Basic Business Information: Let couples know where you’re located with your business address and make it easy for them to contact you with your phone number and email address.
  • Include a Business Description: Write a thorough and informative summary of what you can offer to couples. Sharing details about your expertise, your style and the services you provide is essential to generating leads and improving your rankings across search engines.
  • Add Photos and Videos to Your Gallery: Upload high-resolution photos and select a main image that represents your brand (we’ll choose one for you if you don’t set it). If you’re a new vendor and do not have many photos yet, get started by uploading some of the top-performing photos from your social media channels and work your way up over time. The minimum number of images and videos (if applicable) required for your specific category is noted on your Pro Playbook checklist and during Onboarding.
    • Please do not upload images with text obscuring them or that include contact information, screenshots, reviews, menus or promotional material. Small watermarks are okay. We do not provide stock photos at this time.
  • Share Info About Your Products and Services: Each vendor category has a unique set of common questions that will appear on your Storefront once answered, ranging from capacity to specialized services. When you provide more info about your business and services, you will also appear within filtered results when couples search by specific criteria within The Knot and WeddingWire vendor marketplaces.
  • Include Links to Your Website and Social Media Channels: Make it easy for couples to find other examples of your work by adding links to your business website and professional social channels, like Instagram and Facebook.
  • Share Your Pricing: Add information on your rates and packages to educate couples and attract more of the ideal clients for your business. Pricing details can be added to the WeddingPro Pricing tool.
  • Build Out Your Team’s Profile: Build trust with couples by giving them a sneak-peak at your team and what they can offer, including team size, languages spoken and a photo and short bio for each team member!
  • Show Your Availability: Match with interested couples faster by connecting your calendar to your Storefront.
  • Request Reviews From Past Clients: Use our Review Collector tool on The Knot and WeddingWire to easily send an email to your past clients or share your personal review link. When it comes to reviews, “more is more”, so make sure to request reviews from clients after each wedding to help build your credibility.

You can track your Storefront setup progress within your WeddingPro account. Once setup is complete, we recommend updating your Storefront at least once per season to keep your content fresh and relevant.
