What is the WeddingPro Grant Program?

Many wedding professionals manage small businesses while facing challenges like shrinking access to capital, increased operational costs, and tightening budgets. The 2026 WeddingPro Grant Program is an investment in financial grants, advertising support, and mentorship designed to help you expand and grow your business.

How do I know if I qualify to apply? 

To qualify for the WeddingPro Grant Program, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Have been in business with an established LLC (or equivalent legal entity) for at least 6 months
  • Have an active revenue stream from operations
  • At least 50% of your total business activity comes from weddings

How do I apply? 

Applicants need to submit a short video showcasing their business, their work and how they would plan to use the grant funds over the next 12-24 months. 

You can opt to apply for a monetary grant, free advertising through WeddingPro, or both—but will only be eligible to receive one or the other.

What will I receive if I am selected? 

Applicants who are selected will receive either an individual grant of $10,000–$50,000 or one year of free advertising on The Knot and WeddingWire. 

Grantees will also receive additional support in the following areas: 

Mentorship

  • WeddingPro will introduce you to a personal mentor, allowing you to manage the relationship at your own pace. Mentors will meet in quarterly group sessions, with additional 1:1 support as needed.

Education

  • A full onboarding experience into our library of written (and video!) resources, including: industry-leading reports, educator webinars, blog posts, and more.

Editorial & Social Features

  • Spotlight stories for social media will be developed to highlight your business.

Community

  • Grantees remain connected through WeddingPro events and programs.

1. What is the 2026 WeddingPro Grant Program?

2. Who is this program for?

The program is open to wedding experts in the US who run a small business and earn a significant part of their income from the wedding sector.

3. Do I need to be a WeddingPro customer to apply?

No. The program is open to both WeddingPro customers and non-customers.

4. What types of businesses are eligible?

5. Are new businesses eligible?

To be eligible, your business must be a legally registered entity (such as an LLC) that has been active for a minimum of six (6) months and can demonstrate income from wedding-related services.

6. Is there a revenue limit to apply?

Yes, the WeddingPro Grant Program focuses on small businesses that operate under a $250,000 annual revenue limit and have five or fewer employees or contractors.

7. What does the grant include?

Selected recipients may receive:

  • Access to community and networking opportunities
  • Financial grant funding up to $50,000

8. How do I apply?

To apply, individuals must fill out an online form and provide a brief video that highlights their company and the potential influence of receiving this assistance. The video submission should showcase your work in the wedding industry, your need for support and vision for growth, and how grant funds or advertising support would be used over the next 12–24 months.

9. When is the application deadline?

All applications must be submitted by March 27, 2026 at 11:59 PM (ET).

10. When will recipients be announced?

Recipients will be notified by May 1, 2026.

11. How are recipients selected?

To ensure a transparent process, a panel that may consist of sponsor and funder representatives, advisory board members, external educators, or third-party partners will assess applications. This evaluation utilizes a structured scoring rubric that examines your need for support, your business foundation, your vision for growth, and your submission video. 

12. Is this a lottery?

No, the selection process is not a lottery. Grant recipients are chosen based on the strength of their application and how well they align with the goals of the program.
