Reporting Spam/Scam Leads

Our tech teams are constantly monitoring leads sent through our sites and creating filters to prevent bots, which are large contributors to spam.

We work to make sure to avoid filtering any valid leads from couples that could be booking opportunities for our pros. We’ve recently implemented additional measures to flag suspicious activity and built new logic into our lead filters.

The best way for us to identify and block these users is by hearing from you. We make it easy for pros to report leads as spam right in their accounts, which is a top way that we can identify and block spam that is getting to our pros.

To mark a lead as spam or scam from your inbox, click on their name to open the message thread. Once you’re in the thread, there are two ways to mark them as spam or scam:

  • Click on ‘Report & Block’ at the bottom of the couple’s information panel on the right-hand side of the screen.
  • Click on the warning icon next to the Mark as Booked button above the conversation thread.

Once you click on either of these buttons, you’ll see a two-step flow to provide a reason for why you’re reporting this lead. Once completed, they will be blocked and moved to your Archive folder. Neither you nor the lead will be able to message each other moving forward. Please note that this cannot be undone.
