Awards aren’t just trophies; they’re proof of your excellence. They are powerful tools that build trust, boost your reputation and attract more happy couples to your brand. The Knot Worldwide is proud to reward vendors like you who go above and beyond to turn wedding dreams into reality with the following awards:
- WeddingWire’s Couples’ Choice Awards®
- The Knot’s Best of Weddings
Each year, these awards recognize and honor our top-rated wedding professionals across the United States. Winning one of these awards is the ultimate stamp of approval and is a great way to connect with more couples and secure more bookings!
Awards Eligibility
- To be eligible for an award, you must receive a minimum of seven reviews with an average rating of 4.5 stars or above in a calendar year. This requirement applies separately to each Storefront on The Knot and WeddingWire.
- Awards are earned separately for each platform; you cannot transfer or combine reviews between platforms to meet the minimum eligibility requirements.
- For a review to be considered valid, the reviewer must be a verified client. A client is defined as the individual who pays for the services or the couple getting married.
- Reviews imported from third-party platforms such as Google are for informational purposes only and do not count toward TKWW award eligibility.
- Both paid and unpaid vendors are eligible for awards.
- Please note that the above are minimum eligibility requirements. Meeting these requirements is necessary for consideration, but does not guarantee an award.
Changes to Reviews That May Affect Eligibility
- If a reviewer changes the star rating they gave in their review, it may impact your average star rating, which may affect your award eligibility.
- If the removal of a review from your Storefront causes your average rating and review total to fall below the minimum requirements, it will affect your award eligibility.
Review Disputes Affecting Eligibility
- Vendors can dispute reviews year-round.
- The deadline for award-qualifying reviews is December 31st at 11:59 PM CST; you may dispute any review received before this cutoff.
- If a dispute case is still in progress after the December 31st deadline, the disputed review will still be factored into the award eligibility calculations.
- If a review is in dispute when award winners are determined, the vendor may, at the sole discretion of the TKWW Team, be eligible for reconsideration for the award.
Award Disqualification
Any vendor who behaves improperly or fails to act in the spirit of the award will be deemed ineligible. Disqualifying acts include, but are not limited to:
- Abusive, threatening, harassing, hostile or otherwise violating behavior as outlined in our Reviews Policy or Terms of Use.
- Offering a gift or reward of any kind in exchange for a positive review
- Offering a gift or reward in exchange for removing a negative review
- Withholding money, goods or services as a means of pressuring a reviewer to alter or withdraw a review
- Attempting to restrict an individual's ability to leave an honest review by means of a non-disparagement clause or contractual requirement, or by any other means
- Attempting to increase the number of award-qualifying reviews by requesting and/or receiving multiple reviews from the same client on the same platform
- Reproduce feedback from other sites or reuse TKWW reviews on third-party platforms or marketing materials.
- Posting a fake review to your own Storefront or arranging for non-clients to produce fake, inauthentic reviews.
- Misrepresenting or impersonating another user.
Enforcement
- All accounts are subject to random audits to ensure review eligibility and authenticity across our platforms.
- Any vendor deemed ineligible for an award for any part of the year will be ineligible for the entire year, so if a disqualified vendor corrects the reasons for their disqualification, they will not be eligible for an award until the next award season.
- Any vendor found to have engaged in persistent disqualifying behavior over a span of years may also lose any awards previously won.
- TKWW has sole discretion to disqualify and reinstate vendors’ eligibility for awards.
Award Winners
- Award winners will be notified by email in January, after the close of the previous award season. Be sure to check your spam/junk folder so you don’t miss the great news!
The Knot Hall of Fame
The Knot Hall of Fame award recognizes vendors who have won the Best of Weddings award a minimum of four times (wins do not have to be consecutive).
Celebrating Your Wins

Best of Weddings and Couples’ Choice Award® badges will automatically appear in the Awards section of your Storefronts.
- Your Couples’ Choice Award® badge will also appear at the top of your WeddingWire Storefront.
- As a Best of Weddings award winner, you will also receive an award ribbon icon on your Storefront tile so that couples browsing The Knot will know immediately that you're an award winner!
- Best of Weddings and Couples’ Choice Award® winners will also appear in our WeddingWire Winners’ Hub and The Knot Winners Hub and enjoy other feature opportunities throughout our marketplaces for even more exposure!
- Award winners will also find badges for their website and social media pages, certificates, and press release templates in the Best of Weddings and Couples’ Choice Award® tabs of their The Knot and WeddingWire dashboards (these tabs will only appear if you've won an award).
- Award winners will also receive a downloadable GIF in their winners’ email.
- And be sure to tag @weddingpro when you post on social media so that we can re-share your hard-earned win and celebrate you within the vendor community!

Eligible vendors can order a commemorative WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Awards Plaque and/or The Knot Best of Weddings Plaque to commemorate their achievements.
Steps to Order a Trophy (Wedding Wire Couples’ Choice Awards)
To get started, log in to your WeddingPro account and access your WeddingWire Dashboard.
- Navigate to ‘Reviews’, and then ‘Couples’ Choice Awards’.
- At the top of the screen, select the relevant award year.
- Under ‘Order your trophy’, click ‘Order on Award.com’ to begin the ordering process.
- On this page, you can also access your badge code to share your win on other sites, as well as download a printable certificate to showcase your award.
Steps to Order a Plaque (Best of The Knot Plaque)
To get started, log in to your WeddingPro account and access your The Knot Dashboard.
- Navigate to ‘Best of Weddings’.
- On the left-hand side, select the relevant award year.
- Under ‘Order Your Plaque’, click the ‘Order Plaque’ button to begin the ordering process.
- On this page, you can also download a printable certificate to showcase your award.
