Review Recognition: the WeddingWire Rated Badge
The WeddingWire Rated Badge program is designed to celebrate wedding pros who have received at least three valid wedding reviews, one of which must have been received within the past 12 months. This will automatically appear on your Storefront once you have earned it, but you can add this to your own website or social media pages, too!
- Log in to your WeddingPro account.
- Click the 'Reviews' tab from the top toolbar.
- Click on ‘WeddingWire Rated’ in the sidebar menu.
-
Click on the ‘Get Badge Code’ button under your WeddingWire Rated badge to view and copy the HTML code for your website or blog.
- You can also share your badge by clicking on the respective social media logos located directly below the badge.
Adding the WeddingWire Review Widget to Your Website
- WeddingWire also lets you add a Review Widget to your website or blog.
- The WeddingWire widget displays snippets of your top three most recent reviews, the total number of reviews on your WeddingWire Storefront and links directly to your WeddingWire Storefront.
- To get the HTML code for your widget:
- Navigate to the Reviews section of your WeddingWire Dashboard.
- Click on ‘Reviews Widget’ in the sidebar menu.
- Select your preferred color.
- Copy the HTML code and transfer this to your own website.
If you are experiencing difficulty getting the WeddingWire Review widget to display correctly on your business website, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- Incorrectly Pasted: Please try to copy and paste the entire code again. We encourage you to copy and paste the code into Notepad or another text editor first to make sure that all of the text in its entirety has been copied correctly. If anything is missing from the code at all, it will not display correctly on your website.
- Pasted Into the Wrong Section: Ensure the widget code is pasted in the correct place in your website editor. The widget code should be added to a section that allows for source HTML code. This can be found in a different area depending on which editor you are using.
- Website Does Not Support JavaScript: If your website builder does not support JavaScript, the widget code will not display on your website.
